We Ate

We have passed the half-way mark; what a Mammoth accomplishment (pun intended!). Last week everyone (almost) got the opportunity to use their first almost-teacher created rubric to evaluate her/his peers. I hope the experience was a pleasant one. I know that I enjoyed watching everyone interact and discuss technology. Oh yes, one day you will all be computer geeks like me!

Speaking of Computer Using Educators, the annual CUE Conference is this weekend in Palm Springs. I will be there with my pocket caddy (although it now holds my iPod), laptop, and goggles ready to Engage, Explore, and Express, as I learn what's new and cutting edge in the capricious world of computer education. Check out the website for information on the conference: http://www.cue.org/conference/

This week we will be completing our Inspiration/Kidspiration projects and uploading some artifacts to Task Stream. We may also have another assignment . . . stay tuned.

This week's journal article: We are beginning the journals for the next round of five. You should be completing journal articles 1-5 on your blogs. For this week, I am choosing an article from the most recent issue of L&L, which many of you should have received?? The article, number six: "Avoid the Plague: Tips and Tricks for Preventing and Detecting Plagiarism" by J.V. Bolkan, should entertain as it informs!!

Due This week: Inspiration/Kidspiration is due Sat evening.
